Here’s what you need to do before your start date:
Set your password #
- Your welcome email has a link to set your onboarding portal password.
- Your username is your email, plus “.raise” – e.g., myemail@mydomain.com.raise
- Sign in to the portal at any time from the menu in the top right-hand corner of this site.
Sign in #
- Your dashboard has information about this assignment.
- Click the bell icon for alerts.
- If you’re on a desktop:
- The checklist and your onboarding progress is on the right side.
- Click the Get Started button to start.
- If you’re on mobile:
- Look for the alert at the top of the screen and tap where it says Please Click here to complete your profile.
Fill in your information #
- For each section, Save the information in that section, then click Next.
- Basic information & Contact information:
- Fill in the necessary personal information so we can legally work with you.
- Banking information:
- Depending on your work location, you might need to upload a direct deposit form / void cheque, or this might be handled later by a company like ADP.
- Identification:
- We need both a piece of personal identification, and proof of work authorization. See the government’s list of acceptable documents in the portal.
- You can upload an image file, or take a clear photo with your phone camera.
- Assignee-specific:
- If there are any extra documents for your type of work (e.g., Incorporation documents) then we will ask for them here.
Sign some documents #
- You’ll see packages of documents that you need to sign, initial, or complete.
- Open the document package, click the blue Get Started button.
- Use the blue Next button to easily move to the next field that needs your attention, and apply your digital initials or signature to the right places.
Complete your training #
The training is best completed on a computer. If you are on a phone or mobile device and having trouble, please see this help document.
- Click on the menu item labeled Training.
- Click the first training course. If you don’t see any courses (and you’re on a computer) – reach out to Contractor Support : support@raiserecruiting.com.
- If you get stuck and can’t get past a screen in the course, it’s often because there was an interactive element you’ve missed (e.g., a checkbox, an accordion tab that hasn’t been opened, a box that needs to be flipped, etc.)
- Many courses have a button to click to mark your completion at the end.
