Assembler
- Pay Rate: $18-$27/hour, final hourly rate will depend on experience.
- Contract Length: 6-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Location: Shreveport, LA 71129 (Onsite)
- Shift Details: Day Shift | Night Shift
- Additional Information: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures.
- Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the
- assembly and testing of products.
- Read blueprints; identify components.
- Use pertinent tools and rework techniques; operate
- equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Create labor records for all transactions.
- Ensure good housekeeping within own work area.
- Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments.
- Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous
- improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
- Must be mechanically adept,
- Able to use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly.
- Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa
- Sponsorship.
