Quality Assurance Auditor

Pay: $18.19/hour on W2
Work Type: Onsite – North Kingstown, RI 02852
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 2:55 PM – 10:55 PM
Duration: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension

Job Overview:

* The Quality Assurance Auditor ensures customer satisfaction through the internal auditing of mail kit products to verify the highest production and quality standards are achieved according to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Audit mail kit jobs from Data Card, Hand Fulfillment, and Auto Inserting departments.
* Read and interpret job sheets, ISO/CQM requirements, process documentation, and control plans.
* Apply calibration, verification, and AQL/military standard concepts.
* Execute and document non-conformity processes.
* Utilize JAAMS system for audit input procedures and job tracking.
* Generate non-conformance reports and provide feedback to QA management on excessive errors.
* Support production teams in inspecting and segregating non-conforming products.
* Validate new products and portfolios prior to production.
* Maintain positive, professional relationships with team members.
* Remain flexible to work nights and weekends as required for major projects.
* Ensure conformance to company vision, mission, and values.
* Work independently with attention to detail and minimal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
* Prior experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment.
* Basic analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
* Strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with diverse personalities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Proficiency in English (read/write/speak).
* Basic math required.
* Intermediate computer skills preferred.
* Capable of solving practical problems and interpreting a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
* Results-oriented with strong decision-making and prioritization skills.

Physical Demands:

* Frequent use of eyes, ears, hands, and fingers.
* Regular standing, sitting, and walking.
* Must be able to lift to 30 lbs.
* Requires close vision for detailed inspection tasks.
