Our client, one of the world's largest oilfield/energy services providers, is looking for a Heavy equipment Operator to join their growing team!
Pay Rate: $19-26/hour
Work Type: Onsite – Belle Fourche, SD 57717
Location: Belle Fourche, SD 57717
Shift Details: 11 hrs a day 5 days a week Monday through Friday (some Saturdays)
Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
* General knowledge of hydraulic principles.
* Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing PPE.
* Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
* Skills are typically acquired through completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years experience operating Caterpillar 637 scrapers, D9 dozers and 140 patrol, in a mine setting, required or general experience operating Caterpillar D8 dozer and 980 loader in stockpile setting.
* Machinery/tools used: 627K scrapers 740CG articulated dump trucks D9 D10 dozer 14M blade
* Basic understanding of earth moving
* This is a MSHA/Field position,onshore
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Valid Drivers license is required
* 3 years scraper experience preferred
* Ability to operate Heavy Equipment safely
* Ability to take and understand direction
